Why it sells out

Four things a normal ceiling light can't do

Built for the spaces that never got wired properly — bathrooms, closets, garages, porches, stairwells, sheds.

IP65 waterproof

Sealed against dust, steam and direct splashes — so it can live directly above a shower or out on a porch.

150° motion sensor

Walks on when you walk in, off a few minutes after you leave. Hands full of laundry, no switch to find.

10,000 mAh battery

One USB-C charge runs it for one to two months in Auto mode. No wiring, no wall outlet, no cable trailing down.

18 colours + white

Warm 3000K for a bathroom at 6am, daylight 6500K for a garage, or 18 RGB scenes when you feel like it.

In detail

The parts that actually matter

Four claims, and what each one means when the light is on your ceiling.

Rated for the room that steams up IP65

Waterproof

Rated for the room that steams up

IP65 is the real thing: dust-tight, and sealed against low-pressure water jets from any direction. Not "splash resistant" — actually sealed.

  • Safe directly above a bath or shower
  • Gasket-sealed diffuser and housing
  • Handles porches, sheds and garages
It turns on before you reach for a switch 150° PIR

Motion sensor

It turns on before you reach for a switch

A 150° passive-infrared sensor covers 5–8 metres. Auto mode only draws power when someone's actually in the room, which is how one charge lasts a month or two.

  • Auto, manual and always-on modes
  • Adjustable 30s / 60s / 5min hold time
  • Daylight sensor skips daytime triggers
Charge it twice a year and forget it 10,000 mAh

Battery

Charge it twice a year and forget it

A 10,000 mAh cell — roughly three phone batteries — charges over USB-C in about four hours. In Auto mode most people recharge every one to two months.

  • USB-C, charge in place or take it down
  • Low-battery indicator so it never dies on you
  • No wiring, no outlet, no extension lead
Two screws. That's the whole job. 2 minutes

Installation

Two screws. That's the whole job.

Screw the bracket into the ceiling, twist the light onto it, done. No junction box, no switch loop, no electrician, and nothing to patch afterwards.

  • Screws and wall plugs included
  • Twist-off for charging and cleaning
  • Works on ceilings and walls

The honest version

Why people return the cheap one

Most battery ceiling lights are a plastic puck with a dim LED and three months of battery life. Here's the difference, line by line.

Finally light in the back closet

Four minutes with a screwdriver and it was up. The motion sensor is the part I actually love — hands full of laundry and it just comes on.

Bathroom has no ceiling fixture

Our rental bathroom only had a vanity light. This went straight onto the ceiling with two screws and the steam hasn't bothered it at all in two months.

Battery life is genuinely good

Charged it in October, still going. Docked a star because I wish the remote was backlit, but the light itself is bright and even.

Bought a second one same week

Put the first in the garage, immediately ordered another for the shed. Daylight white is bright enough to actually work under.

The kids love the colours

Sold to me on waterproofing, kept for the RGB. My daughter cycles through all 18 colours every night before bed.

No landlord permission needed

That was the whole point for me. No wiring means nothing to undo when I move out. Takes 30 seconds to lift off the bracket.

Questions

Everything people ask before buying

Does it really need no wiring?

Correct. It runs on an internal 10,000 mAh battery that you top up over USB-C. Mount the bracket with the two included screws, twist the light onto it, and you're done. No junction box, no switch loop, no electrician.

How long does one charge actually last?

One to two months in Auto mode for a typical hallway, bathroom or closet — that's a few dozen triggers a day at a few minutes each. Left on constantly at full brightness it runs about 8 hours. A full recharge takes roughly four hours.

Can it go directly above a shower?

Yes. IP65 means the housing is dust-tight and sealed against low-pressure water jets from any direction, which comfortably covers shower steam and splashes. It is not rated for submersion.

How bright is it compared to a normal ceiling light?

1,200 lumens at maximum — similar to a 100W incandescent bulb. Plenty for a bathroom, closet, porch, stairwell or single-car garage. For a large open living room you'd want two.

Will it trigger all day in a sunny room?

No. There's a built-in daylight sensor, so Auto mode ignores motion when the room is already bright. You can also switch to manual or always-on with the remote.

What if it doesn't work for my space?

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund — we cover return shipping. The light and battery are covered by a 2-year warranty on top of that.
